Keiji Inafune, best known for creating the Mega Man series and producing the Dead Rising series has revealed via his personal blog that he is quitting his position at Capcom, effective at the end of the month. Although no specific reasons were given for his departure, Inafune vaguely stated that he didn’t feel that he was able to perform all of his duties as Head of R&D Management Group, Consumer Games R&D Division, and Contents Management Division. He does say that gamers shouldn’t be disappointed by his departure, as he does not plan on taking a break and is looking at this move as “starting over.”  |
