THQ and 4A Games have announced the development of Metro 2033 – a new first-person shooter “coming to Xbox 360 and PC in 2010.” Based on the best-selling novel by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky of the same name, Metro 2033 will follow the life Artyom – a survivor of an apocalyptic event that has forced the few remaining Muscovites underground. Get ready for some mutant ass-kicking in mother Russia.
4A Games is a Ukrainian developer. Between the source material and the creative minds behind development, the game has a decidedly realistic feel; well-steeped with knowledge and understanding of the region.
