Mojang, the studio behind the enormously popular Minecraft , will finally be releasing a new title, though work and updates on Minecraft will continue. The collectible card game Scrolls is set to launch June 3 rd in open beta, at which point players will be able to purchase the game on PC and Mac for $20.
The developer seems to be following in Minecraft ’s paid beta footsteps with the inception of Scrolls , as the game will be playable but incomplete come June 3 rd . Interestingly enough, the beta was previously slated to begin at the end of April—a delay for which no reason has been given.
