While the new Mortal Kombat blew almost everyone who saw it away at this year’s E3, a year is an incredibly long time to wait to get our hands on it. If an online listing from a U.K. retailer found by Eurogamer is to be believed, fans of the series may be getting something to tide them over until next year.  According to the listing on ShopTo.net, the Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection, said to contain MK 1, MK 2, and Ultimate MK 3, should be releasing on November 12th of this year. The listing had the game releasing only for the PS3, which would lend some credence to it since the PS3 is already the destination for other HD collections of older games. However, what does poke holes in this listing is that “Collection” was spelled with a “C,” which would seem unlikely given the MK series’ love of substituting every “C” with a “K.” We’ll let you know as soon any official announcements are made regarding this rumored title. |
