Nolan North, voice actor for several big titles (Nathan Drake – Uncharted; Desmond Miles – Assassin’s Creed; Jason Flemming – Shadow Complex; and MANY more), told GamePro that 2010 looks to be every bit as big of a year as 2009 was for his talents. Most interestingly, his comments lead to the informal confirmation of the development of the next Uncharted. Apparently, Mr. North will once again be lending his voice for the role of Nathan Drake (and Desmond Miles) and that he’s also working on “a couple of other big premiers that are still unannounced,” he told GamePro.
While no other details were made available, the fact that Naughty Dog and Sony are already looking to get voice work done for the title in 2010 means we could see the next Uncharted in 2011 (**knocks on wood**). After all, Ubisoft recently confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed will be coming out in the company’s fiscal 2010 (April 2010-March2011), so maybe Uncharted 3 is at a similar stage in the process.
