“Night of DC” Gets Comic-Con Host

“Night of DC” Gets Comic-Con Host

While there will certainly be no shortage of awesome panels and news to come out of this year’s Comic-Con (as it does every year) we’ve now learned who’ll Emcee DC’s Night of Entertainment!

Arrow’s Stephen Amell will head up the activities, which will bring us a more in-depth look at several new shows coming down the pipe (including Gotham, Flash and of course Arrow ’s new season). A recent press release gave further details regarding the upcoming festivities: “As previously announced, WBTV and DC Entertainment are teaming up for a three-hour (8:00–11:00 p.m.) special event in Hall H designed for DC Comics fans and featuring some of DC Comics’ greatest characters. Amell will preside over the world premiere screening of Gotham and the complete pilot screening of The Flash , and will give fans a look at footage from the Constantine pilot and a sneak peek at season three of Arrow . He will also introduce select stars and producers from each of the four series.” It reads.

For those still unfamiliar with Arrow ’s backstory, it’s not all that different than fan-favorite Bruce Wayne. A young man mysteriously returns home after an extended absence to showcase his set of newly acquired skills, disguised as a masked vigilante. He also doesn’t go it alone, as he’ll be joined by  “… John Diggle (David Ramsey), Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) — Oliver protects the people he loves, becoming a beacon of hope for the city’s most vulnerable, and a weapon of justice against those who prey upon them.”

Arrow returns October 8 th on Wednesday nights to the CW.
