Oblivion Joins Xbox One Backwards Compatibility List

Oblivion Joins Xbox One Backwards Compatibility List

It’s always nice to see more games being added to Xbox One’s list of backwards-compatible games. Those of you with robust Xbox 360 libraries will be happy to know that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is now playable on Xbox One. This prequel to Skyrim was a breakout hit, introducing many to the Elder Scrolls series and priming the world for its sequel’s later success.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is not the only title to receive a backwards-compatibility update today. Microsoft has also added AstroPop , Medal of Honor: Airborne , and Trine 2 to the library of 360 games playable on Xbox One. You can either use your physical copies to access the games or buy them on the Xbox Store. AstroPop runs $10, while the other three will cost you $15.

In this instance, Microsoft is Khajit, and it has wares… if you have coin. If something more recent is more your style, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition is still on sale at some major outlets – Amazon is selling PS4/XB1 copies for $44 as of this writing.
