At this point, we have kind of gotten used to dropping hundreds of dollars on DLC after a game comes out. However, according to Popcap’s marketing manager Gary Clay, that won’t be the case for Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare . Speaking on Twitter, Clay confirmed that all DLC for the game will be completely free. The first DLC pack for the game is expected to be released in the next couple weeks and everyone will be able to download it free of charge.
But while the game will be free of a DLC price tag, it still will have some other less than stellar pricing practices. Yes, we are talking about the dreaded microtransactions. Clay has reiterated that the team has not yet announced anything regarding microtransactions, but they still aren’t out of the question.
