Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is a surprisingly balanced, over-the-top shooter. If you’re skeptical that a third-person shooter spin-off of Plants vs. Zombies could be anything but a corny cash-in (pun intended), I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you find here. Our own Becky Cunningham echoes my sentiments in her review , stating that “The love and care that was poured into this title is obvious, and translates into a terrifically entertaining experience that I encourage everybody to try out.” EA is giving you the chance to do just that.
Starting today, until the end of the month, you can download PvZ Garden Warfare 2 for free on Xbox One and PS4. Feel free to enjoy the full game for up to 10 hours, and should you decide to purchase the game, it will be available at a 50% discount. All of your progress and achievements will carry over to the full version. EA didn’t forget about you PC players, either. Starting on August 16, a 10-hour free trial will be added to Origin as well, along with the 50% discount on the full version. Just try it . I promise you’ll have more fun than you expect to.
