Platinumgames, best known for their recent work on MadWorld and Bayonetta, has released a trailer for their newest IP: Vanquish. Though no actual gameplay footage was released, the CGI work mixed with live action sequences do hint at the cinematic approach the game will have as well the trajectory of the plot.
As demonstrated by the trailer, Vanquish will have players take on the role of a super-soldier, not unlike Master Chief, after an apparently unprovoked attack on San Francisco. It looks like you’ll be taking on the invaders, not just on Earth, but also from space. This could be a fun ride, especially with Platinumgames at the helm. Check out the trailer below!
