PlayStation Plus Users Get Free Trial of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is launching soon for the PS3, and all PlayStation Plus users will be getting it free… in Japan at least. Between August 28 th and September 3 rd , PS Plus users will be able to download the game for free, and play for 20 minutes before the game locks again, enough time to figure out whether or not you want to buy it.  It’s unclear if this trial will be coming to America.

This is one of the first demos of its kind to hit the PlayStation network. Timed demos are far less common than demos that lock out a certain portion of the content. On the upside, you get to experience all of the content the game has to offer, but on the downside, it’s very easy to waste those 20 minutes away if you don’t know how to play the game.

What do you think? Do you think these demos should be used for fighting games in the future? Do you want to see the 20 minute demo of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax come to America? Let us know in the comments.
