Pokémon is huge in Japan. So when Pokémon Black & White came out on September 18 in the country, it made a serious splash. In fact, it was Japan’s best-selling video game of 2010.
Recently, the game hit another big milestone – five million units sold. This makes it the fastest Nintendo DS title to hit the five million mark, and only the fifth DS title to sell more than five million.  Of course, the fact that there are two different versions of the game, Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, probably contributed to this sales figure. |
