Good afternoon, trainers! We’ve got a fresh scoop on Pokemon Sun & Moon which, like the games that preceded them, will have some subtle differences between versions. If you weren’t immediately drawn to one color or the other, you likely remember how tough it was to decide whether you wanted to go for Pokemon Blue or Red. Do you want that Scyther or do you have to have Magmar? The age old struggle returns in Sun & Moon .
Fighting type Pokemon Passimian will appear in Pokemon Sun , throwing berries at its foes. It also has the Receiver ability, allowing it to absorb the ability of an ally who faints in battle. Normal / psychic type Oranguru can be found in Pokemon Moon. Oranguru is a great support Pokemon and has the ability Instruct, which can make the selected target use its most recent move again immediately. The recently revealed Rockruff also has two different evolutions depending on which game you’re playing. In Pokemon Sun Rockruff evolves into Lycanroc (Midday Form), speedy and agile. In Pokemon Moon you’ll get Lycanroc (Midnight Form), self-sacrificing and battle-hungry.
