The Pokemon Company has given us a lot of great new information regarding Pokemon Sun & Moon . For starters, the veil has been lifted and we now know our two new legendaries seen on the covers of Sun & Moon . Their names are Solgaleo and Lunala, repsectively. Solgaleo is a psychic / steel type with the “Full Metal Body” ability which makes it impervious to opponents’ moves or abilities that might otherwise lower stats. Lunala is a psychic / ghost type with the “Shadow Shield” ability, Lunala’s defense is given a big boost while it has full HP.
And get this: your main character (who can be a male or female, customized to look the way you want) will have a talking Pokedex possessed by a freaking Rotom. “It’s known as the Rotom Pokedex, and it’s inhabited by Rotom, a Pokemon with the power to reside in various electronic appliances. It does much more than record Pokemon info – it sparkles with its own personality.” It sounds like there are a lot of exciting firsts in this game, which is encouraging.
