Polytron Responds To Fez Issues

None

Indie game Fez is one of the biggest new hits on the XBLA. Unfortunately, indie studios often aren’t able to test their game as well as the public can after launch, and that means a few bugs have unfortunately popped up. Fez creators Polytron detailed a few of these bugs in an official blog post:

A small subset of older Xboxes with smaller hard drives can’t run the game at all. The game has trouble running off a USB stick. Crashes are occurring in specific levels or situations. In a rare situation (exiting the game from the “wall village” interiors), the save file becomes unusable. Nasty stuff.

The development team assures Fez fans that they are working with Microsoft on resolving these issues. They plan on releasing a patch to fix these bugs, but currently they don’t have an ETA. They urge fans to send bug reports to [email protected]. Since lots of the problems can actually be fixed or worked around on the user end, Polytron wants to help out the user-base as much as possible by giving them solutions before the patch comes out.
