The gaming community all heaved a heavy sigh when Valve revealed that Portal 2 was going to be delayed. Of course, Valve promised the delay would be “the shortest in history,” but given Valve’s history, it was easy to be skeptical.  However, Valve might be making good on their promise, as EA’s distribution offices announced that they finalized distribution plans for the game’s physical release (Valve is handling digital releases internally through Steam). Although this is hardly the final word, it is certainly an encouraging sign that Portal 2 will indeed be in our hands sometime this spring. |
