April 12 still seems so far away, but thankfully From Software has given pretty much any Souls fan a good reason to pre-order Dark Souls III, no matter what platform you may be gaming on. For PS4 players, your pre-order will secure you a digital copy of the Dark Souls III soundtrack, as well as a dynamic theme that you can apply right away. On the Xbox One, your Dark Souls III pre-order will come with a download code for the original Dark Souls, playable through backward compatibility. If you’re pre-ordering through Steam, you’ll get that digital soundtrack, as well as $5 off Dark Souls III if you own Dark Souls or Dark Souls II already.
Those are all pretty sweet deals if you ask me, and there’s also the digital deluxe version to consider. The digital deluxe version will come with the pre-order bonus appropriate to your platform, as well as future DLC, which will take the form of new maps, new bosses and enemies, and weapon and armor sets. I’m usually not one for digital deluxe anything, but I may have to make an exception this time around.
