Professor Layton Coming To Cell Phones

Are you a Professor Layton addict? Do everyday occurrences remind you of puzzles? Are you frequently stuck trying to stack your canned goods into organized piles in a limited number of moves? Well we have good news for you.

Today Level-5, the studio behind the good professor and his top hat, is teaming up with Japanese cell phone game company DeNA. They will be making a new social game called Professor Layton Royal, featuring the professor, Luke, and many other of your favorite Professor Layton characters.

There is no word on just what sort of gameplay the game will entail, or even if it will be coming to America or not. However, according to the rumor mill, the game will include a large library of puzzles sent out to users on a regular basis. Personally, I think it would be cool if you could share your puzzles with your friends, and/or work together to solve harder puzzles. We will just have to wait until Level-5 releases more information about this mobile project.
