PS Vita Gets Facebook App

PS Vita Gets Facebook App

None

With the latest PlayStation Vita updates, Vita users everywhere are setting up their new handheld consoles to connect to all of their social networks. Yesterday, we were all able to connect to Flickr and Twitter, but today we will be able to connect to possibly the biggest social network of all: Facebook.

The new Vita Facebook app is now available on the PlayStation store for a low, low price of absolutely free. The app is twelve megabytes, which is larger than expected, but small enough to not make too big a dent in your memory card.

Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a gigantic app push for the Vita. It would be awesome to see integration of other popular mobile services on the Vita as well. Foursquare would be a nice addition, and complete Google integration would be a plus. If we had that, our Vitas could just about replace our Smart Phones.
