PSOne Classics Coming To Vita On August 28

None

Sony has announced that the much-anticipated PSOne Classics support for PlayStation Vita will be arriving as part of the handheld’s firmware 1.80 update on August 28.

Alongside granting the ability to play classic PlayStation titles on the go, the new firmware will also include the new Cross Controller feature, which allows players to use the Vita as a PS3 controller for select titles such as LittleBigPlanet 2.

Other additions include the ability to use the Vita’s physical buttons on the handheld’s menu screen, the ability to import music playlists from iTunes or the PS3 onto the Vita, added usage of the rear touchpad for Internet browsing, and playback speed control when watching videos on the system, among others.
