The latest firmware update for the PlayStation Vita is available now, and it’s entirely optional. Update 1.69 doesn’t do anything major, adding what Sony’s Eric Lempel calls “improved software stability.” It’s only 97 MB in size, so the minor upgrade should be in and out of the way fairly quickly. 
No official date has been given for that upcoming update, but players of the handheld would be wise to keep their eye out for whenever that day comes. By Jeff Dunn |
