RUMOR: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Coming To Vita?

None

Robert Krekel is a sound designer for Sony Computer Entertainment of America who is working on the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Obviously proud of his work, he updated his C.V. on LinkedIn to reflect his time on the project. However, he may have unintentionally spilled the beans on a handheld version.

His listing read “Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal (PS3, Vita).” Up until now we had no idea that the game would be coming to Sony’s new handheld platform.

Of course, this confirmation is not official, but the evidence is pretty convincing. I would not be surprised if we ended up seeing a Vita port of the new PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal at E3 this year.

What would be great, though, is if they were to include Vita/PS3 crossplay compatibility, considering Nintendo has announced 3DS/Wii U compatibility as one of the big features of the next upcoming Smash Bros. And Sony doesn’t want to be outdone by the big N, do they?
