Rumors about a new sequel in the Resistance series are nothing new. First there was the giant billboard spotted on the set of an upcoming film, and then there was the survey from Sony that asked fans if they’d like to see another Resistance on the PS3. Only making the lack of any official confirmation worse, now the game is being listed for purchase at an online retailer.  According to CVG, online retailer eStarland.com apparently has some information about the sequel that lends credence to their posting being legitimate. The product description on the site reads “Continue the fight against the Chimera invasion in Resistance 3, as the battle moves to New York City and humanity makes its final stand.” At this point, it is a safe assumption that this game is actually coming and, according to the retailer, we can expect to see it March 24, 2011. |
