Rime May Be Headed to All Major Platforms

I have to be reminded every so often that Rime exists – or, well, that it’s going to exist. Developer Tequila Works’ action-adventure title was unveiled at Gamescom 2013, but we’ve heard very little since then, leading us to wonder if it had become vaporware.

As it turns out, Tequila Works reacquired the rights to the game from Sony earlier this year. Sony was set to publish Rime , leaving it in limbo, but we’ve learned that it now has a new publisher. Grey Box and Six Foot will assist in releasing Rime next year, and it’s apparently now coming to all major platforms. The Australian Classification Board has rated it for PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Rime looks like a unique adventure with visual aesthetics that echo Ico and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. We should be learning more about the game as it approaches its 2017 release.
