Last week, the rumor mill known as the Internet started churning out reports that GSC Game World might be planning to cancel S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and close its doors . The report was mostly cobbled together from a few tweets and industry whispers, but it’s starting to look like they may have been fairly accurate. Yesterday, the the Ukraine-based developer sent out a tweet that read “We will do our best to continue. However, at this moment, nothing is certain.” About an hour later, they gave us a bit more information “Our website will continue, with the forum & tech support. The shop will continue until the nearest planned items sell out.” 
I don’t know about you, but I’d be interested in knowing what Ukrainian law enforcement wants with a video game development company. By Josh Engen |
