The wait for Pokemon Go has been excruciating! Especially since Japan, Australia, and New Zealand got in on the beta tests first. Don’t worry. You’ll get your training on soon. Sign-ups have just begun for the Pokemon Go US beta.
Signing up for the Pokemon Go beta test is simple. You give your Gmail or Google account email, say what mobile OS you’re rocking, and (optionally) give your Ingress information. You do need at least an iPhone 5 with iOS 8 or higher and an Android device with 4.3 or higher. If you meet those requirements, you’re set!
Not everyone will get in to the Pokemon Go beta test. Only a few will be picked to check the game features and balance. Also, people who participate are being asked to keep the experience confidential.
We don’t know when the Pokemon Go beta will begin in North America. Hopefully it’s soon! And that as many of us as possible end up getting in. I know I won’t stick with it, but it’d be fun to try.
