Skyrim Version 1.7 Goes Live For Consoles

Skyrim Version 1.7 Goes Live For Consoles

None

According to Bethesda, the Skyrim 1.7 update will go live worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PS3 this Thursday. PS3 users in Europe will, unfortunately, have to wait another week.

This update will finally bring mounted combat to the PS3, which at this point is the last console to receive it and many other features. This simply continues the trend of PS3 users being the last to get Skyrim updates. They are, after all, the only console that doesn’t have the Dawnguard expansion available to them yet. Hopefully we will get more information on that soon.

In addition to a series of new gameplay additions, update 1.7 will also fix several different bugs that have been plaguing console users, especially PS3 users, for a while. It also fixes some issues with Kinect voice-control dragon shouts in other languages.
