Nintendo recently held their third quarter financial results briefing to inform their shareholders of their earnings. Among the less exciting news were a few tidbits about their plans for 3DS connectivity, a slightly more specific launch period for Zelda: Skyward Sword, and a new game called “Battle & Get! Previously, the only solid release data was ‘early 2011’ which was later modified to ‘2011’ with a general consensus that that meant ‘late 2011’. According to this briefing we can expect to get our hands on Skyward Sword sometime after the release of the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time, to be released sometime between the release of the 3DS (March 27, 2011) and June. Add to that the fact that Skyward Sword is “entering into the final completion stage” and we’re able to ‘narrow’ it down to the latter half of 2011. |
