Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare tried a new sort of promotion for fans that were eager to get the game. If you purchased the special Day Zero edition, you would be able to obtain the game a day before everyone else.
Unfortunately, the Day Zero release is getting off to a bit of a rocky start. Some users are reporting problems downloading their pre-ordered copies of the game on the Xbox One. Microsoft says the problem is fixed, but to enable the fix you need to delete your game and re-download it. It’s not clear whether or not the issue has been fixed for all users however.
If you decide to pick up Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today, you will be able to get double XP all day long, before its official release tomorrow. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
