If there was ever proof that the ancient rivalry between Sonic and Mario was over, this is it. One of the original creators of Sonic, Hirokazu Yasuhara, will be working at Nintendo of America in Redmond, Washington. Perhaps that’s why recent Sonic games haven’t had the charm the classics have; the original team hasn’t been working on them. Yasuhara has done many things besides Sonic. He did some work with 2K Sports and lent his expertise to Naughty Dog for both Jak & Daxter and Uncharted.
