The PS4 Pro kind of snuck up on me. I was so focused on the absurd backlog I’m working through (I’ll finish you soon, Ace Attorney 6 ) that I almost forgot it would be releasing in one short week. Guess I’d better make sure my pre-order is paid off, eh? Now, for those of you living in New York City, you’ll have an opportunity to pick up a PS4 Pro before anyone else. Sony has announced that it will be hosting a launch party at Sony Square, located at 25 Madison Avenue, on November 9.
Attendees will be treated to games, giveaways, food, drinks, and more. Sony encourages cosplay for the event and will be challenging attendees to PlayStation trivia questions – prizes will be on the line, so come prepared. Only the first 200 people to line up will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase a PS4 Pro at midnight, and the venue will only accept credit cards. I’d love to attend, but I’m in Arizona, so y’all have fun with that. I’ll have to settle for reenacting the scene in Scott Pilgrim where he sits in front of the door all day, tortured by every moment that passes until an Amazon delivery driver arrives to end his long nightmare.
