Here’s some news you wouldn’t expect. One of Sony’s big names is getting back into games. Adam Boyes, the soon-to-be former SCEA Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations, wants to make games again. He announced the move via Twitter , saying he’s going back into game development.
He later expounded on his desires and plan. When someone jokingly asked if he was jumping ship to one of the other big three, Boyes said he wants to go into independent game development . As you may (or may not) remember, Boyes worked as a tester for EA and was a producer for Midway.
Let’s hope this pans out for him! Boyes certainly made his mark at Sony, and it’d be great to see him make some quality indie games for us to enjoy.
