Final Fantasy XV producer Hajime Tabata recently sat down with Gamekult to talk about Final Fantasy XV , and had some interesting, yet vague things to say about the game. He said that development is going smoothly, and after the game’s showing at Tokyo Game Show and the huge reception it got from fans, the development staff has been more excited than ever to be working on the game. Square-Enix is just about to go into the stage of producing a master build for the game, which means soon the game will be playable from start to finish. Unfortunately, Tabata said that their staff is currently lacking for the game’s stage of development, so they are recruiting more members for theor Tokyo Office.
That being said, Tabata says that they know about when the game will be released. Specifically he knows a window but not an exact date. However, he could not share that window with us. He did say that it might be a bit longer than we would hope for, however, which leads me personally to believe that we will be seeing the game release sometime in early 2016.
