It’s time to polish your replica lightsabers, because the next big thing in MMOs, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is almost here. Despite any skepticism about a last minute delay, it’s indeed going to be hitting its December 20th release date (as early as December 13th for those of you who managed to get enrolled in the Early Game Access Program by pre-ordering it.) Oh, and if you live in Europe, you’ll get access to the game on the 15th. Over 725,000 gamers participated in the game’s beta test, logging over nine million hours of gameplay. Over 78,000 guilds have been created and over 2.4 million players are already registered on the game’s official website. All this seems to indicate that this game is going to be big.
