Earlier today, London based developer Curve Studios spoke with CVG.com and revealed that their upcoming Stealth Inc. 2 video game will be coming exclusively to the Wii U later this year. When Curve Managing Director Jason Perkins was asked why the studio made this decision, he stated that there isn’t much competition on Nintendo’s store and that this move could ultimately benefit both sides commercially moving forward.
Stealth Inc. 2 is a sequel to the original cult classic 2D infiltration game. The first Stealth Inc. game is currently available across eight platforms including the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PlayStation 3.
While I personally haven’t had a chance to play the game yet, I’m glad to hear that both sides were able to work out this deal. The Wii U has had a pretty dismal year so far thanks to the lack of quality releases on the platform. That trend will start to change when Mario Kart 8 launches later this month. Hopefully Stealth Inc. 2 will be one of many more games that fans can look forward to in the months ahead.
