Street Fighter X Tekken DLC Has Been Pushed Up

None

A while back, we heard that the upcoming DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken would be released in November, along with the PS Vita version of the game. Then fans realized that all of this DLC is already on the SFxTK disc, and they became outraged.

Realizing that they simply couldn’t delay the DLC anymore, Capcom has decided to push up the release of the game’s 12 DLC characters to July. On July 31st, all twelve DLC characters will become available to purchase in a twenty-dollar (1,600 Microsoft points) pack.

In addition, a new balance patch is being worked on that will require auto-block and auto-tech gems to use more meter, introduce an option to turn quick combos off, and, of course, alter the individual properties of several moves. Nothing has been said about the Rolento glitch that causes your console to lock up, but it’s likely that it will be fixed as well.

The only question left is, do people still care about Street Fighter X Tekken? SFxTK was probably the least hyped event at EVO this year. With many Street Fighter players moving on to KOF XIII or going back to AE, it’s possible that this patch is too little, too late for this slowly dying game.
