The Boondock Saints Getting A Shooter?

The Boondock Saints Getting A Shooter?

None

No official announcement has yet been made yet, but Critical Mass Interactive is reportedly working on a video game based on the popular Boondock Saints franchise. In a recent interview with G4, Matt Scibilia, CEO at Critical Mass mentioned that the title would be a “full-on co-op shooter,” but kept most of the other details to himself.

“We don’t want to do a crap-ass franchise game,” says Scibilia. “We’re staying true to the content. We’re looking to expand the story, not just retell the franchise.” In order to do this, the developer is considering releasing The Boondock Saints in an episodic format, rather than a standard retail product.

On March 11, Critical Mass and the original Boondock Saints cast members will be taking the stage at SXSW’s ScreenBurn Arcade series. The crew will reveal a few details about the game, but doesn’t plan to show it off until PAX East in April.
