The Next MMO Exclusively Revealed!

None

Combine two of the most popular online phenomena of all time, and the result is interactive social networking of the fourth kind.

The creators of Facebook and World of Warcraft have joined forces to bring you the ultimate online event. As long as you’ve got a Facebook account, you will automatically have a character generated from your likeness, ready to take part in the world of Face Craft.

Face Craft is part fantasy, part reality, not unlike the real Facebook where people affect personalities, retouch their photos, and bathe themselves in gloriously exaggerated accomplishments. If you’ve had enough of the lies, and those sickeningly inane posts, it’s time to do something about it with Face Craft.

You can keep things as private as you like on Face Craft. If you don’t like a particular Facebook friend, you can access their avatar likeness for your own personal exploitation. No permission required. If you don’t like what someone has posted on Facebook, clobber the tar out of them on Face Craft. Or feel free to make fun of them to the rest of the community, as your posts will not be shown to them. So don’t hold back. There’s no reason to be polite anymore; this is war, a world of Face Craft war.

Expected to be one of the site’s biggest features is the Enemies list. You can include people from your Friends list and give them dual status. They don’t have to know.

As in World of Warcraft, your character will be able to increase his or her abilities, thus able to inflict more damage on other Facebook people, willing or not. Single attacks on other people will cause no damage to them, but if you’re able to convince a community to attack someone, they can be terminated entirely from Facebook for up to one year. This is certain to rid the online community of those no-life losers that abuse the posting privileges to notify us of every excruciating detail of their dinner at KFC with Kaitlyn.

The only way you can level-up is by receiving Likes from other people via Facebook. So you’ve got to make an effort to make people like you. If you don’t, you’ll be getting knocked senseless in some dark corner of the Forest of the Dead.

This is presented as our weekly “Are You Stupid Enough to Believe It” article.
