The Original Crysis Comes To Consoles

None

Back in 2007, Crysis 1 wasn’t so much a game as it was a torturous stress test for your computer’s graphics card. At the time, people were doubtful our current generation consoles could even handle Crysis running at peak capacity.

Well, the guys over at Crytek have proven these doubts were unfounded. Not only will Crysis be coming to the XBLA and PSN as a twenty dollar downloadable title, the game itself will be “remastered.” It will feature new lighting effects, controls optimized for a dual analog stick layout, and support for stereoscopic 3D TVs. Everything else about the game from weapons to story is exactly the same as it was on the PC release. This means no rebalancing, no tweaked A.I., and no bug fixing. So you’ll have to take the game for what it is, good and bad.

The remastered build of Crysis will be releasing sometime next month, so keep your eyes on your online market of choice in order to download it on day one.
