The Witcher 2 Comes To Xbox 360?

The Witcher 2 Comes To Xbox 360?

None

The Witcher 2 was one of the only big-name action/RPG games of this generation that remained exclusive to the PC. However, if we can believe the ESRB, this won’t be the case for long. A recent ESRB listing for the game mentioned an Xbox 360 version, but this tidbit of info was quickly removed from the site. Was this just a mistake, or was it an accidental game leak?

That’s not all that smells fishy in Witcher World. Recently, CD Projekt senior producer Tomasz Gop mentioned that they would announce a new Witcher game at E3. He couldn’t say much, but he was able to say that it was a game in the Witcher franchise, and that “console gamers might be interested in it.” He also noted that, as of now, they haven’t started development on The Witcher 3. In fact, there aren’t any plans for a third game at all, but it’s possible that might change in the future.

A while back there were rumors of a game called The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf coming to consoles. However, this project was apparently canned when issues cropped up with another developer, Widescreen Games. It’s possible that the project was restarted and is being kept under wraps for now.
