Over the weekend, 4playercoop.com was given “leaked” photos from an anonymous “mole” that depicted a new-look Lara Croft. According to QJ.net, “this reboot will supposedly tell Lara’s origin story, which has her shipwrecked on a mysterious island off the shores of Japan.” As such, as is apparent from the supposedly legitimate photos, a younger Lara Croft will take on foes that look strikingly similar to Alma from F.E.A.R. and to a lesser extent to creatures from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Attorneys for Eidos were quick to get these photos removed from various important sites. While this seems to lend some clout to the photos’ legitimacy, we will not be able to post the images here. |
