Trials Evolution Too Popular For Its Own Good

Trials Evolution Too Popular For Its Own Good

None

Wednesday, the launch of Trials Evolution caused a major headache for Microsoft’s servers. Hundreds of thousands of gamers posted their times to the game’s built-in leaderboards. As a result, players were met with long loading times and repeated failure notifications whenever they tried to pull up a track’s list of best times. Microsoft has since increased the available server space, which should give Trials Evolution enough wiggle room to avoid crashing in the future.

Developer RedLynx apologized for the inconvenience that this caused and assured the game’s fans that they are doing their best to work with Microsoft to ensure this won’t happen again. Then again, having a game that is so popular it crashes Microsoft’s servers is not the worst problem to have.
