UK Retailer Seriously Slashes Price of Titanfall Xbox One Bundle

UK Retailer Seriously Slashes Price of Titanfall Xbox One Bundle

The Xbox One must seriously be having a tough time selling in the UK because retailers keep discounting it over and over again. UK supermarket chain Asda and Amazon.UK have both severely reduced the price of the Xbox One Titanfall bundle to £349.99. That’s as much as a PlayStation 4, without any games! Meanwhile, this bundle includes an online download code for Titanfall and the console itself. Weird, considering that the console launched at £429.99.

Note that this is still not an official price cut from Microsoft. However, it certainly cannot bode well for the console being that retailers continually have to discount it to see it sell. The only official price cut we have seen was a £30 price cut after the first three months. By comparison, the Xbox 360 took nearly two years to see its first price cut.

Have Microsoft and Sony overestimated how much gamers are willing to pay for next-gen consoles? Let us know in the comments.
