Uncharted 3’s Aiming Finally Works Properly

Uncharted 3’s Aiming Finally Works Properly

None

Uncharted 3’s Patch 1.02 went live last night, and here are some of the tweaks and updates that come with it. First of all, “Alternate Aim Settings” were added to the options menu for single-player, which is a product of the fan testing and tweaking that went down at the Naughty Dog studio in response to complaints about the single-player campaign’s slow and sluggish gunplay.

There were also a few fixes to motion blur effects, upgrades to the game’s Facebook support, and the movie cutscene viewer has been returned. The majority of the updates, though, dealt with small tweaks and bug fixes to the multiplayer mode. For example, characters now have more “momentum” when sprinting. It might be a little hard to get used to for seasoned veterans, but I’m sure we’ll all adjust in time.

To make a long story short, we have better balance, better aiming, fewer bugs, and more. So what do you think? Did the 1.02 patch do enough, or will further updates be needed?
