On Tuesday, we reported that Sony’s Vita would allow for only one PSN account to be logged in per system . If one wishes to change accounts, they will have to restore the device’s factory settings. While this is mostly true, Sony’s Crystal MacKenzie has come forth and offered some clarification. “Your PSN ID is bonded to your memory card and your memory card is bonded to your Vita,” she says, allowing for one to switch out memory cards to change accounts on a given system. Given the price of the cards, however, this might be financially prohibitive. More importantly, it locks multiple memory cards on multiple accounts to a single device, not allowing these accounts to move between systems, which seems to defeat the primary purpose of allowing multiple accounts on the same device.
