Valve Removes Stomping Ground from Steam Early Access

Valve Removes Stomping Ground from Steam Early Access

Stomping Ground is, unfortunately, an example of the problems with early access games. It was successfully funded through Kickstarter on 2013. It made over $100,000 in pledges and managed to get on Steam last May. It’s currently incomplete being, sold as an early access game. However, the development team has been completely silent for the last few months, and that can’t be a good sign. The games Facebook, Twitter, Forums, and Kickstarter page have all been completely silent, and the developer’s website is basically non-existent.

As a result, the game has been taken down from the Steam marketplace, as it appears that no development process has been made. Unfortunately, this may mean that a lot of people are out of a lot of money, and there is nothing that Steam can really do about it.
