Who Doesn’t Love To Play God?

Who Doesn’t Love To Play God?

None

If you were paying attention to E3 last year, then you may remember a title from Ubisoft Montpellier called From Dust. If you are unfamiliar with the title, From Dust is described as a “modern take on the God game genre.”

From Dust is a top down view game in which you play God. You will watch your people expand their tribe and evolve into a more advanced civilization. You can enrich soil for better crops, help the people migrate, and protect themselves against natural disasters. This is assuming you are a kind God.

If you are a cruel God, then not only can you deny the people your help, but you can also set their villages on fire and even wash them into the sea. Despite the potential for fiery wrath, From Dust has been slated with an ESRB rating of E10+, so gamers of all ages can enjoy playing God.
