Xbox Live is currently Experiencing Problems

As reported by CVG on Monday, July 7, bigwig company Microsoft has issued a service alert regarding Xbox Live, which is currently having connectivity issues at the time of writing.

According to the service alert, some of Xbox Live’s services have been limited, and Microsoft has acknowledged that said limitations extend across being able to make purchases and being able to use features available on Xbox Live.

As it currently stands, the ongoing issue is affecting Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Xbox on other devices (such as PC and smartphone). The affected service in particular is the ability to download items and / or games you’ve already purchased.

Xbox members, we know some of you are unable to watch television seasons that you’ve already purchased from Xbox Video, and we’re diligently working to correct this issue right away, ” the company says, according to CVG. ” We appreciate your patience during this process and will update you again when we have more information.

A couple of Xbox apps are also suffering from Xbox Live’s connectivity issues, and so Netflix on Xbox One and Twitch are currently experiencing problems. According to the service alert, all the other Xbox apps are functioning normally.

The connectivity issue has also affected FIFA 14 players, and EA has announced via Twitter that it is doing its own investigation into the matter.

We’re currently investigating the connectivity issue affecting #FIFA14 on X360/XB1. Sorry for the inconvenience.
