Zelda 3DS Is U.S. Bound

Zelda 3DS Is U.S. Bound

None

Maybe I’m a bit too excited about this one. There have been rumblings over the last week, as Black Friday looms closer, that Nintendo would bringing its already-announced-for-Europe Zelda 3DS bundle to the States. Purported scans of the GameStop Black Friday ad showed both special edition Zelda and Mario bundles, as well as high trade values for previous DS models. A subsequent scan of what was thought to be a Best Buy circular seemed to support speculation.

Now, however, Best Buy employees have come out and confirmed that, yes, the bundle is real and coming to North America in time for the biggest shopping day of the year. Of note, the bundle is slated to be $179 at Best Buy, which is $20 lower than the price seen in the alleged GameStop advertisement. GameStop offers far better trade-in values for previous DS models, though, so it really comes down to your current handheld situation and your personal ethics regarding trades.

That said, I haven’t been this excited to spend money in years. Skyward Sword on Sunday? Ocarina of Time 3DS bundle helping to bookend the week with Hylian goodness? It’s a Nintendo nerd’s dream come true!
