Zynga Temp Accused of Stealing $100K In Merch

None

On Tuesday, the police threw the handcuffs on a Zynga temp who allegedly helped himself to $100,000 worth of merchandise and equipment. If this doesn’t bother you, you obviously don’t play enough FarmVille, CityVille or Mafia Wars.

Keith Brown, a 21-year-old temp from San Ramon California, was taken into custody on Tuesday after reliving the FarmVille developer of laptops, desktop computers, and software. The thefts started taking place around Halloween and continued up until his arrest.

So, it only took him a couple of weeks to steal a hundred grand worth of gear? I think that we can all agree that Keith got a little greedy. When you can’t fit all of your stolen merchandise into the back of your hatchback, put some of it back. You’re probably going to get caught.

Brown’s arraignment is on the docket for this afternoon. He is currently being charged with four felony counts of burglary, one count of receiving stolen property, one for embezzlement, and another for grand theft.

But the biggest question is: is his career as a temp over? Those agencies aren’t exactly known for their thorough background checks.
